Marketing Manager

Note: This is a remote position. The employment term is flexible (full-time, part-time, or contract). Compensation will be based on experience.

Overview

As a Marketing Manager, you will manage a team of marketers within the Product & Experience department and report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence. You will work closely with other Marketing team members and collaborate with ion8 consultants and members of other teams such as Design, Sales, and Technology.

In your role as Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping create compelling content, storytelling, defining and meeting engagement goals, conducting research, influencing our roadmap, and ensuring the team is aligned on internal/departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Optimize our marketing strategies and manage the marketing department’s budget and staff based on strategic vision and goals (alongside our Director of Business Intelligence).
• Understand and Execute the GTM strategy for the clients and assist in ion8’s internal new products (Client Go-to-Market).
• Help build the adoption campaign strategy for convincing the market on ion8’s enterprise solution implementation and existing critical solutions ion8 offers clients (Service Adoption).
• Assist in creating, refining, and improving our client product education journey.
• Help in positioning/creating landing pages for ion8’s clients website.
• Support the team in any necessary KPI reporting (as needed).
• Be ready to execute a client campaign from start to finish by putting on copywriter, social media marketing, and email marketing hats (Campaign Execution).
  • Campaigns may require an omni-channel approach to engage with trainers and clients where they interact with us; including but not limited to: social, in-app web and mobile, mobile push, emails, webinars, events, and more.
• Create emails and workflows in Zoho Campaigns and manage the complexity of sending multiple emails to multiple segments for existing ion8 clients about ion8’s offerings.
• Articulate ideas and needs to designers to convey and visualize the intended message and goal (web, mobile, social, etc).
• Produce inspiring case studies (and product use-cases) and testimonials that highlight customer success stories, and look for opportunities to leverage them as part of new buyer and customer education journeys where appropriate.
• Become deeply familiar with both the most common and potentially overlooked use cases for our product, the way our customers currently use it, and how they might wish to use it.
• Own and lead the execution of our monthly e-newsletter from start to finish to promote traffic.
• Assist with the execution of events to help build more awareness and increase the adoption of ion8’s solution to clients.
• Strive to continuously deliver industry-level market insights to support client content roadmap/positioning, campaign development, and other relevant areas and company growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Able to balance multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations.
• Strong sense of concept development, strategy, research, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, iterative environment – with significant attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to work independently, prioritize accordingly, incorporate and give respectful feedback, take/give direction well, and iterate quickly.
• Interest in keeping up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
• Experience executing tasks with significant attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
