Overview

As Business Analyst, you will be managed by the Service Manager, report to designated Project Managers for project-related tasks, and work cross-functionally and collaboratively across teams. Your primary goal will be to effectively elicit the customer’s business and system requirements in addition to producing project analysis documentation as needed, including but not limited to functional and non-functional requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, current vs future state proposals, and UAT plans. The Business Analyst will analyze and synthesize the client’s processes, identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction in order to deliver on the company's value promise and make most effective use of the internal resources — using our methodologies and in cooperation with our PMO and other departments' efforts.

Responsibilities

• Gather and express requirements for software and implementation projects.
  

• Identify and address operational, financial and technological risks within both ion8 and client businesses.
  

• Maintain testing and improve business and systems operations.
  

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, combining representing the interest and needs of stakeholders, developers, designers, etc.
  

• Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  

• Identify innovative ways to increase client and ion8 team satisfaction.
  

• Communicate ideas and viewpoints well at all levels of personnel.
  

• Act as a liaison between business, creative, and technology groups.
  

• Continually raise the bar with client concierge-level service and support with expert client-to-ion8 and ion8-to-client advocacy.
  

• Actively contribute to client projects with a primary focus on developing and contributing to quality deliverables.
  

• Determine process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements, and related impact analyses.
  

• Support internal business process and development initiatives with meaningful contributions.
  

• Serve as a liaison across teams to facilitate process design changes with a focus on quality improvement.
  

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  

• BS/BA in business management, IT, or related field.
  

• Ability to proactively keep abreast of new emerging technologies.
  

• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  

• Experience executing tasks with significant attention to detail.
  

• Comfortable prioritizing multiple projects and deadline requirements.
  

• Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical individuals with the ability to be pragmatic and practical.
  

• Familiar with test-driven and behavior-driven design and development concepts.
  

• Ability to conduct stakeholder analysis as well as be empathetic in the understanding of user needs and information architecture.
  

• Proven experience in Business Process Modeling.
  

• Team player with the ability to follow instructions, work independently and in a team environment, prioritize accordingly, incorporate and give respectful feedback, take/give direction well, and iterate quickly.
  

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and community. Participate in presenting education sessions either company-wide (Lunch-n-Learn) or to the Consulting team.
  

• The ability to speak French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an asset.
