Sales Representative, Consulting Services

ion8 is a full-cycle business management consultancy that combines deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to create tailored solutions to our clients' business challenges. We partner with organizations to modernize their operations through cloud platforms, automation, systems integration, and AI-enabled tools — with a particular focus on Zoho, Atlassian, and Google Workspace implementations.

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative, Consulting Services to grow ion8's consulting client base. If you are a relationship-driven seller with experience in professional services, technology consulting, or B2B solution sales, we want to hear from you.

This is a remote position, and may be performed on a contract basis. Compensation mechanism is open to discussion and rate of compensation is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new consulting engagements across industries and geographies; develop relationships with decision-makers at SMBs and mid-market organizations facing operational or technology challenges.

  • Qualify opportunities and articulate the value of ion8's consulting approach relative to client needs, using a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.

  • Own your pipeline from initial outreach through signed agreement, with support from ion8's leadership and delivery teams on scoping and proposals.

  • Collaborate with the ion8 team to develop proposals and statements of work that accurately reflect client requirements.

  • Maintain client relationships through the engagement lifecycle with an eye toward expansion and referrals; represent ion8's brand with professionalism in all client-facing interactions.

  • Share market feedback and competitive intelligence with internal teams to inform service offerings and positioning.

  • Flexibility to support additional and varied initiatives as needed, including participation in ad hoc and special projects as directed by the company.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or technology services.

  • Ability to sell complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with longer sales cycles.

  • Strong consultative selling skills — you understand client problems before pitching solutions.

  • Existing networks in any industry vertical are welcome; experience in legal, finance, healthcare, or operations-heavy industries is a strong asset.

  • Comfort working independently and managing your own pipeline without day-to-day supervision.

  • Experience with CRM tools; Zoho CRM experience is particularly desirable.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to speak French, Spanish, or Portuguese would be an asset.
