UCaaS Sales Engineer

Note: This is a remote position. The employment term is flexible (full-time, part-time, or contract). Compensation will be based on experience.

As a UCaaS Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical expertise and business needs, helping our clients adopt Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions that drive significant growth. This role involves working closely as a part of our sales and implementation teams to develop, sell through, and deliver innovative UCaaS solutions for clients in a range of verticals. Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide tailored UCaaS solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our UCaaS offerings.
Analyze customer environments to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective UCaaS solutions.
Prepare technical proposals, network diagrams, and system specifications for client engagements.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on architecture, deployment, and best practices.
Assist in the seamless transition of projects from pre-sales to implementation teams.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Stay up-to-date on UCaaS trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Work with marketing and sales teams to refine go-to-market strategies and develop technical sales collateral.
Continually raise the bar with client concierge-level service and support with expert client-to-ion8 and ion8-to-client advocacy.
Actively contribute to client projects with a primary focus on developing and contributing to quality deliverables.
Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, preferably in UCaaS or cloud communications.
Hands-on experience with UCaaS platforms such as RingCentral, Dialpad, and others.
Strong knowledge of internetworking and cloud telephony technologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Experience executing tasks with significant attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to follow instructions, work independently and in a team environment, prioritize accordingly, incorporate and give respectful feedback, take/give direction well, and iterate quickly.
Familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho CRM would be an asset.
The ability to speak French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an asset.
